Laura Hamilton: Supporting her and working out the finer details.

Hi again! 
This time I'm going to show the background that took me the longest,  Laura Hamilton's.  (LHamiltonTV)  Laura asked me to do one for her after she saw her professional partner Colin's background I made for him. 


The one thing about this background was that Laura was doing a photo shoot that week when she asked me and she want me to use them for it.  Things got in the way as she is a very busy person so I ended up making her one with different pictures that I had access to, making it easier for her, an other thing to take off her list of things she had to do. 

I can't remember why exactly I chose the blue background,  sometimes this happens, I make choices cause I think it would look good with no real meaning behind it.  Pink was the colour that Laura and Colin wore for the first week and for their promo shoot so,  some of the decorations are in that colour which is an interesting contrast to the blue.  I designed the background especially to help Laura and Colin in the show,  (being in Australia I can't vote) so I added Laura's website,  and two pages from Facebook that are officially supporting Laura and Colin.  

I tried to make it as personal as I could so that is why the caption's are written as if Laura herself wrote them,  and that includes the speech bubble at the bottom, by the way,  I love the picture of Laura and Colin on the set of Wake Up World (Laura's show at Nickelodeon) It's their personalities all over.  

The ice diamonds make an appearance again and snow flakes also appear on it too.  The snow flakes appear on a number of my earlier DOI backgrounds.  The pick lipstick is a reference to the promo shoot which I'll explain in my next blog entry.  

Laura loved it,  I'm glad.  I worked hard on this one,  took me forever to be happy with this one as I tried to get the finer details correct.  Thanks Laura for being a great supporter of mine in terms of these backgrounds,  all the best for the rest of series!
